Germany
We had to stop by Berlin to check out the Berlin Wall and Brandenberg Gates.

June 26- Berlin, Germany
So today was a travel day.We woke at 6, had a driver take us to the airport which was 2 hours away, went through security, got on the flight, bla..bla..though there is one interesting part to the day.We had four hours in between the time we got to the airport and the time we got on our flight, so we decided to go out and explore Berlin( Ans was not happy with this Idea she wanted to stay and chill for 4 hours)We waited in a long line for a taxi, and our first driver didn’t speak English, and was a crazy driver, so Ans and I were car sick. Anyway he dropped us off at Reichstag building were we took photos then walked 5 minutes to the Brandenburger Gate, took photos while it was beginning to rain( Ans was about to melt down), so we got a taxi to go back to the airport. I was a bit disappointed since I couldn’t see the Berlin Wall, but fortunately for me, it turns out we had the nicest taxi driver in the universe who drove us to the Berlin Wall and took photos of us. He was great, he accommodated to our every wish, and was like a tour guide in the fact he knew everything about the city. The Berlin Wall or at least the segment we saw was like a 2 km of the original wall that professional artists had painted on to look really cool. We took photos with a bunch of cool painted sections of the wall, then after our Berlin Wall experience headed back to the airport. The rest the day sums up as this, we got to Iceland drove to our hotel, our rental car was a manual (lol) luckily my dad knew how to drive it. While on the way we decided to pull over to take photos with these beautiful purple flowers that look like lavender but aren't, so if you read my Ireland blogs from last year you should be familiar with the story” seagull island”, we had a similar experience. So my dad was getting ready to take pics of me, when about 50 birds emerged from the flowers, they were going crazy; I thought they were only being loud and squawking cause my back was turned to them posing for a photo. My dad then was like “ Riley, run back to the car the birds are trying to attack you” it turned out the birds were swooping in just above my head, with their beaks open, and claws( if thats the right word)extended. So yeah, luckily we made it out before either of us got hurt #fails( Ans was already in the car). Anyway, the rest the drive to our hotel was beautiful, and back at our hotel we checked in, ate a snack, watched the Iceland vs Croatia World Cup game. All of Iceland seemed to be watching the game since they haven’t been in the world cup since 1947 cause there entire population is like the size of plano texas alone. Anyway they sadly lost but they were definitely the better team and controlled the game the whole time; anyway they had an impressive run, plus it was so cool to see the excitement of everyone so passionate about their team. Then we went to dinner, walked around a bit, then chilled for the rest the night. Until tomorrow! Bye!
June 17- Rostock, Germany
Rise and shine early once again at 6 AM, cause well today is a travel day, off to Germany folks! So well Ans and I told my dad happy fathers day, we all packed up, rubbing the sleep out of our eyes since none of us slept well that night, then we headed off in a taxi to the airport leaving London behind. Anyway, at the airport, not to make this boring, we went through security and all the customs of every flight in existence, we ate breakfast in the airport, then we took one flight to Munich, Germany I slept that whole hour and 45 minutes flight( my dad, And, and I were all separated); then we had an hour layover were we found our gate and chilled. Next, finally we took a bus out to our small plane headed to Rostock, which was only an hour and 15 minutes. I watched out the window the whole plane ride. Then we got off the plane walked to the airport, got your luggage, bla...bla...bla...Furthermore, we took a taxi to a port off of Rostock where our cruise was awaiting us, however during that car ride I got car sick and ended up having to jump out of the car to throw up, right as we arrived at the cruise, yet the taxi did not take credit card, so my dad had to leave my sister and I, with fright I would get sick getting in the car again, to go to the local bank to pay for the taxi. Ansley was freaking out since she was convinced we appeared homeless, while I was trying not to die. Anyway, then when my dad returned, and when I felt better we went to go through security and check-in on the cruise. Fast-forward, after going patiently through security, boarding the ship, checking in, finding our room, and me showering, we headed to an Irish restaurant for lunch. Ans and I both got veggie burgers and we all discussed the services of the cruise and what we wanted to do in each stop, and after lunch toured the cruise. Now to the more interesting part, the Norwegian Breakaway Cruise has everything! A Water Park, Arcade, Rope course, mini golf, Sports facilities, bungee trampolines, etc. Ans and I first went to the arcade while my dad watched the world cup out on the large movie screen. My sis and I played air hockey, car, motorcycle, and boat simulations, zombie attack games, and so on. Then we met up with my dad, to just check in with him, and next went to the bungee trampoline: I did a front and back flip #proud and then we raced up the spider net ( a stretchy band thing with different levels that you had to climb vertical through the netting without falling) it’s hard to explain. Then it started to get crowded, so we went over to the rope course only to find that we had to leave our phones in the room, so we had to walk back to our room to abandon our phones, then we went to the rope course where we went on every optical as we looked over the sea. There were obstacles with nets, boards, rope, and even one was a zip line which is apparently what you take when you are completely done and ready to leave the course oops... Ans and I discovered that the hard way, but then the guy reattached us and we climbed around a bit longer. We ziplined down when we were done, then went to do the spider net a few more times, but by now it was crowded so it didn’t take long for us to head back in search of my dad. We found him on the 6th deck( there are 18 decks) watching the world cup, which by then it was time for dinner. We went back to the room to get ready, then walked all over to find a dinner place one place had a wait time up to an hour and a half, one had a dress code we were violating, but we finally went to the garden cafe which was a buffet. Then we discovered that Ansley left her card downstairs(everyone had a room key/identification card of there own), so she went downstairs with my dad to attempt to find it, but they ended up having to get a new one. When they returned we dished up and ate, then we headed back to our room (Ansley stepping on the heels of my shoes the whole ride back) where we got ready for bed and I worked on my website. Then at 11 PM the doors closed and the ship finally took off headed toward Estonia. We're on the move! So yeah that was my day, thanks for reading ;)
