Denmark

This was one of our ports for our Black Sea Cruise.

June 25- Copenhagen, Denmark

So today was Copenhagen Denmark. We woke around 7 to loud announcements over the speakers saying who knows what, or at least I woke up then woke my dad and Ans. We got ready, then got off the boat, headed to the city for a full day of exploration. We had to wait in a relatively long line to get a taxi, us combined with people who Denmark was their final stop, and who are headed to the airport. Next, the taxi dropped us off in Stroget where we walked all over to find a breakfast restaurant, Ansley was about to die from the smells and smoke LOL. We finally found a place where we settled down to eat breakfast, I ordered avocado toast, and where we discussed our plan for the day. Next, we went to a souvenir shop where we looked around, then we took a few pics around the area and yeah. We went up to one of the many canals in Copenhagen, where we took pics and looked out over the water. Next, we roamed the streets, soaking in the great city until we got to Castle Island, where we walked around Christiansborg Palace and Castle Island, in general, taking pics and exploring. Next, we decided to walk over to Peblinge(part of the canal), which was quite far actually and got to see a large portion of the city area in that walk. We wanted to go to  the Swan Boats to ride them around the canal. When we go there we first stopped by a cafe for us to get a quick drink( I got water and my dad and Ans got soda) then we headed over to the swan boats. Turns out you can only fit two people at a time on each boat, and you have to be 16 to drive your own, so my dad had to take Ans and me out at separate times for us to each get a turn. The other one would simply stay on the dock and take photos.  It was fun, it was one those pedal boats where you have to physically petal for the boat to move( which I like since it is environmentally friendly and a great way of exercise). It was great, there were actual, real swans on the water too, so we observed them, while we rode around. Next anyways we walked to a popular area called Nyhavn, with colorful buildings alongside a beautiful canal filled with wooden, pirate-looking ships. We ate lunch there at an Italian place, inside cause And couldn’t bare all the people smoking. We then went next door to get gelato( I got 2 scoops of cookie gelato), which in 20  minutes later accidentally sent the remains flying onto the floor, out my cone, when I had tripped. Furthermore, we had stopped at a park to swing on the hammock for a bit, then walked across town to find this little mermaid statue that is super significant to Copenhagen, and rated the #1 thing to do in Copenhagen. We found it along the coast, after attempting to find it on our own, we eventually google mapped it. On the way to it, we walked through a cool park with a ton of statues, ponds, flowers, and gorgeous things like that. The statue was green and appeared to be a girl about 20, half fish and half human all that, yet it appeared nothing as Disney premieres the little mermaid to look like in my opinion. We took photos with it, there were a line and a huge crowd of people around it. In one of my photos, I did a jumping pick, which I failed miserably and fell off the stone the mermaid rested on, into the surrounding water #fails. Then I convinced my dad and Ans to let me ride a bike around for 10 minutes( that I turned into 30) while they waited along the coast. They took this time to hack my phone LOL by spamming pics on my phone, hacking my snapchat, and my texts. I rode around on the streets and bike trails going far both directions with one those rent bike things. I went through a park, under a bridge, along with the coastline, then turned around and went for the opposite way up a hill to a nature park, around that area, then back, and in basic, I biked around that general area. Then I returned after about 30 min to my dad and Ans, we returned the bike, then we attempted to walk back to the cruise. We got lost and it ended up being way farther than we expected and my sister was fading out, so we had to take a taxi back to the cruise. Back at the cruise, I worked on my blog and then went to eat at the Irish place on the cruise. When we got back we played Fortnite, packed, and I finished my blog. Anyway, tomorrow we head off to the airport to go to Iceland. So Here I Come to Iceland! Until Then :)
