United Kingdom
First Time: We spent a weekend in London checking out the really cool history.

June 16- London, United Kingdom
Were at it again! Another trip around the world, this time focusing on Europe! So we are in London now, but to back up we had an overnight flight here, where my dad had a strange seat in the middle of the aisle, which affected my whole sleeping on the floor thing, I still did, but I was limited to the space of 2 seats rather than 3 so I was crammed. Anyway, fast-forward, we had a nine-hour flight, none of us got any sleep, and it was 7 AM when we arrived in London. So you can imagine how tired we were. Anyway we cleared all the different things you have to do when you arrive in another country: get our passports stamped, clear customs, get baggage, etc. Then we caught a taxi home. When we got to our hotel, we checked in-half asleep-then went to put our luggage away then we headed off to eat breakfast at our hotel (we were all starved). I dished up at the buffet, it was really good , but of course any food tasted good to us since we were so hungry. Next we went back to our hotel room where we agreed to take a 2 hour nap since none of us could function running on no sleep, and by the time the alarm went off I was the only one who heard it and had to wake my dad and Ansley up, and Ansley would not leave the bed. Therefore, my dad gave me permission to take my phone and roam the city by myself, so I walked around for a little over 30 minutes going to souvenir shops, checking out a music festival, and staring at delicious pastries in bakery windows, however as much fun as it was to walk all around, the second my phone buzzed I remembered I had to find my way back. I looked around puzzled, then my phone buzzed a second time and I remembered the great technology of the century and google mapped my way back. I then met up with my dad and Ans which then we went to take on London together! We went sightseeing, though it was more of a photo shoot, I was begging for my photo to be taken everywhere. We first saw the Big Ben( an iconic clock tower), which was under construction so not necessarily the most iconic photo ever, but hey it's all good. Then we went to see Westminster Abbey, where we stopped to take more photos, I was begging Ansley to take cool pictures with me, but she was evidently tired and despising me. Love You Ans. Though the second my dad went to take a selfie with me she jumped right in the photo like she loved pictures. As we roamed the streets we called the floor is lava a few times, and Ansley almost died from all the people smoking, she's a bit over dramatic at times though I love her. Furthermore, next we acted like we were royalty at the Buckingham Palace, and took more photos. Then we spent forever searching for a taxi, yet when we finally found one they drove us to a spot on the marina by Thames River, where we ate at an Italian restaurant, where we ate food and Ans and I played Duos on Fortnite, it's sad but it's true. Then we went to the London Bridge and Tower of London, taking pics and admiring both. Then we found a place with a great view of both, a cafe, and we ate a snack while we looked at the view. I ordered a hot chocolate and a cookie. Next, we took another taxi to the London Eye( a Ferris wheel) which we were gonna ride, then we saw the line that seemed to stretch miles so with my sisters' patience level, not to mention how tired she was, you can imagine what we decided to do… We did however take photos with the London Eye, then we walked over to take photos with Big Ben from closer up, and looked over the Thames River. I stood on the edge of it and knowing my loving, sweet sister she kept threatening and fake pushing me off. I would of practically killed her if she actually pushed me into that polluted water, okay I would probably laugh and enjoy telling the story, but still! Anyway then we walked back to the hotel, Ansley complaining about the smoke and pollution and me admiring the great city if Y'all can’t tell my sister and I are complete opposites. Back at the hotel, where I am now, I am working on typing my blog, obviously, and yeah. Now, my dad, Ansley, and I are headed to dinner. We have returned to the hotel from dinner. We went to a British cafe for dinner, where I got spaghetti marinara, and a molten lava cake looking thing for dessert. Ansley was not feeling that well, but she got better as the night progressed. Anyway we came back to the hotel, got another hotel key cause all 3 of course quit working, then we got ready for bed. So yeah that was day one of this summers travels! Stay tuned for more as the trip continues.
